Every month Maximum Comics sponsors a B-Movie night dedicated to the fans of watching crappy flicks with a community of like minded individuals. It’s a way for people to have fun, make new friends, and basically nerd out in a very unique way. In the spirit of Mystery Science Theater 3000, we gather together at Rave Motion Pictures here in Las Vegas, NV to laugh and crack jokes at our movie of choice.

The month of September is dedicated to Flash Gordon, The Savior Of The Universe. And by relation, Queen; who did the entire soundtrack. Its good clean fun but it is a strictly 18+ night. Leave the kiddies at home because these have been known to get loud and crude.

The month of September is dedicated to Flash Gordon, The Savior Of The Universe. The 1980 epic about a football player who joins his friends on a trip to the planet Mongo and find themselves fighting the evil tyrant, Ming, the Merciless. By relation, the month is also dedicated to the ever amazing Queen; who did the entire soundtrack. With Timothy Dalton and Max Von Sydrow in the mix, who could ask for more.

Note: Its good clean fun but it is a strictly 18+ night so leave the kiddies at home because these have been known to get loud and crude.

Print the ticket below or head to either location of Maximum Comics(Fort Apache & Tropicana or Sunset and Marks) to pick up a ticket. Buying a concession at this free event gets you an even more free comic book from Maximum Comics. Come down to Rave Theaters in Town Square Friday, September 2nd at 11:59pm and join the Nerdlocker crew for some good times and great oldies.

I'm a man of tomorrow still holding onto the joys of yesterday. I miss Nick cartoons, and Power Rangers but I cant get enough of the Time Lords, and Serial Killers we have now. My many distractions include computers, movies, comics, and I like to imagine my life story would be scored with a mixture of Death Cab, A3, and a lot of Kid Cudi. We've entered the Geekological Revolution. A time of Vulcan Death Grips, drinks with friends on Tatooine, and attempting to build a freeze ray. Things have changed, muscle headed bullies. The Nerds rule the world now, and we reign SUPREME!
