A band called Boys Don’t Cry once sang “I want to be a cowboy and you can be my cowgirl.” So, today’s Double Feature is George P. Cosmatos’ Tombstone and James Mangold’s 3:10 to Yuma. My mom once asked me when I was a kid what I wanted to be when I grew up. I said “a cowboy.” Her response was “no, you won’t make any money.” Thanks for the tip mom! Well, I will always be one in my childish little mind…So, grab your favorite high-crowned, wide-brimmed hat, leather chaps, six-shooter and look for the following…A former Peach Pit employee, an Easy Rider, a China Beach nurse, a serial killer in each movie, the Hand of God, The Phantom and a tank soldier from Pittsburgh. “Skin that smoke wagon and see what happens!”
