Do you love film? Do you love Stephen King? Have you always wanted to fund a short film based on a Stephen King story? Then we are here to match you up with a fantastic project.

A good friend of mine from Ohio University Film School, writer/director extraordinaire Dave Brock, is currently seeking funding via the relatively new crowdsource funding site everydayhero. Why not Kickstarter? Because everydayhero allows you to claim a tax deduction for any donation.

What’s even cooler is that Dave has set this opportunity up as a learning experience at West Virginia State University where he currently teaches. This means he is offering a great opportunity for students to learn their craft while working on a fantastic script based on an incredibly talented author.

Add to that, Dave has worked on Stephen King source material before. Check out the trailer for “The Road Virus Heads North”:

So if you can, please support the short film based on Stephen King’s “The Woman In The Room” from the book Night Shift. For more information on the project and to support a great opportunity, go HERE

I'm a true child of the 80s from a small town near Cleveland, Ohio. My all time favorite topics are Star Wars, slasher films and Cleveland sports (despite the misery it causes). I narrowly avoided law school, instead choosing film school. I have been accused of being a walking IMDB, but I take it as a compliment!
