Nerdlocker’s First Texas Frightmare Weekend!

We have attended SDCC, FantasticFest, NYCC  and even Mondo-con to name a view. I do not think any of our past conventions will prepare us for what lies ahead at the Texas Frightmare Weekend April 29th thru May 1st here in Texas.

Texas Frightmare Weekend is presented in association with FANGORIA Magazine. The event takes place annually in the Dallas Fort Worth metroplex. True to its motto, “The Southwest’s Premier Horror Convention”, our goal is to provide fans with an unrivaled experience by celebrating all aspects of genre films. Texas Frightmare Weekend hosts celebrity appearances, autograph signings, screenings, exclusive parties and horror memorabilia vendors from all over the country.

Some of the guests include stars such as David Arquette, Rose McGowan, and directors, George A. Romero. Plus you won’t want to miss horror icons like Robert Englund, Tony Todd and Dick Warlock. The list goes on.

There are so many things to do that are packed into a 3 day weekend that your brain will explode. Movie screenings presented by Nerdlocker friends Alamo Drafthouse, and art shows and workshops and most importantly actor and director panels with Q&As

And don’t forget to get a photo with you and your favorite star, or get an autograph for a poster from a classic movie or TV show. Its going to be crazy packed with stuff to do.

So if you are ready to cross over to a different type of con that will be sure to have something for everyone, you still have a chance to attend.

** LAST CHANCE for Discount Online Tickets! Discounts End April 26th at midnight central **

Nerdlocker will have a Nerd on the ground so be prepared for con photos and an article from Rainbolt about attending his first Horror con and his reaction to it all.

Texas Frightmare Weekend is a horror-oriented for-profit media event held annually in the Dallas, Texas area. Guests have included actors, directors, and producers from classic and upcoming horror films.
