Hey Nerds. Big Breaking News from the Marvel camp yet again as we hear officially, that they have finalized a deal to bring four prominent Marvel characters to your tv screen. Not only that, they’re all leading into a Defenders miniseries. Yeah, I know right?

The deal they reached means that there is going to be at least four shows with 13 episodes each featuring Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist, which will culminate into the Defenders miniseries, which at this point I’m just going to assume thats who’s going to be on the team. The focus is defiantly supposed to be the heroes of Hell’s Kitchen. Being that Marvel’s Agents of Shield hasn’t been doing too hot, this might come as a sigh of relief (or shout of orgasmic joy) for those nerds out there who wanted to see some more familiar characters on the small screen.

I’m going to go out on a limb again and assume that all this will be tied into the cinematic
universe, at which point we’re probably going to have some of the best cameos and crossovers ever, at least as capes and tights are concerned. Personally I’m more excited to see what they do with these characters and how they incorporate the decades of amazing stories already established and loved into a brand new take on these classics. Especially considering the amount of life/world/universe changing crap those four in particular have gone through in just the last 10 years.

I wanna know what you guys think of this? I’m pretty sure everyone is going to be stoked, but what are you most stoked for? I can’t wait for Iron Fist without Luke Cage for a little, before they become hetero life mates.

I'm a true child of the 80s from a small town near Cleveland, Ohio. My all time favorite topics are Star Wars, slasher films and Cleveland sports (despite the misery it causes). I narrowly avoided law school, instead choosing film school. I have been accused of being a walking IMDB, but I take it as a compliment!
