Sara Deck Slays This 1980s Cult Film

Design by Drew Marvick

There are many fans of ’80s horror movies, I am one of them. When you are given an opportunity to commission an officially licensed horror print from the ’80s and have an amazing artist like Sara Deck working with a private art commissioner that gave her complete control after he pitched his idea, you get this killer screen print for Sleepaway Camp II: Unhappy Campers!

Steven Piper worked closely with Sara Deck and here is what he has to say about this screen print.

Working In a video store from the time I was 8 until I was 23, I fell in love with 1980s cult films. The Sleepaway Camp trilogy was always one of my favorites but they never really had an illustrated poster when they came out. That’s what I decided to change that and hired Sara. I helped her see my vision and felt the sisters being Barbecued was an iconic scene and she took it from there. She made it feel like a National Park poster and it just feel perfect.

Regular: $70.00
