I'm a true child of the 80s from a small town near Cleveland, Ohio. My all time favorite topics are Star Wars, slasher films and Cleveland sports (despite the misery it causes). I narrowly avoided law school, instead choosing film school. I have been accused of being a walking IMDB, but I take it as a compliment!

  • Also loved it. Good acting, good action, good story. I love the way that they made Thor an interesting character by showing him as flawed. I was also forgiving of the portrayal of Loki as a frost giant baby, because the sibling rivalry was what was important. My only criticisms are that the alternating between Midgard and Asgard storylines was a bit choppy at times and that the relationship between Thor and Portman’s character was rushed and unbelievable.

Still, a solid movie – almost as good as the first Iron Man.

Did everyone catch all the cameos and references? I love the Marvel movies for that. Stay after the credits. They run pretty quickly.
