I'm a true child of the 80s from a small town near Cleveland, Ohio. My all time favorite topics are Star Wars, slasher films and Cleveland sports (despite the misery it causes). I narrowly avoided law school, instead choosing film school. I have been accused of being a walking IMDB, but I take it as a compliment!
Good movie series always have an end in mind. See Star Wars, Godfather, and Rocky for films that went too far with sequels. These all had an end in mind but then just kept going.
A reboot is a great idea. My suggestion is that they do a detective story with Batman. We haven’t really seen the detective side of the character – something along the lines of The Long Halloween where the audience doesn’t know who the villain is. TLH doesn’t work directly as a film, but it’s an idea of a different take on the Batman character. As long as it doesn’t have Robin in it, I’m sure I’ll like it.
