Next Summers sure to be blockbuster just got that much more interesting. Already being directed by the legendary Zack Snyder, there has been undeniable faith all around. The suit looks very similar to the orginal movie version worn by Christopher Reeve and the cape looks nothing short of majestic. It is unclear whether he is wearing those famous red under/over wear though. He is sporting the all blue spandex in the upcoming relaunch of the character, after all.

Man Of Steel is set to release in theaters on June 14th, 2013 and is starring Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Kevin Costner as Jonathan Kent, and Michael Shannon as General Zod. Its was also announced last week that Laurence Fishburne will be playing none other than Perry White. The famous editor of the Daily Planet. Will this movie have what it takes to reform a legion of DC movie fans? Tell us in the comments below.

I'm a man of tomorrow still holding onto the joys of yesterday. I miss Nick cartoons, and Power Rangers but I cant get enough of the Time Lords, and Serial Killers we have now. My many distractions include computers, movies, comics, and I like to imagine my life story would be scored with a mixture of Death Cab, A3, and a lot of Kid Cudi. We've entered the Geekological Revolution. A time of Vulcan Death Grips, drinks with friends on Tatooine, and attempting to build a freeze ray. Things have changed, muscle headed bullies. The Nerds rule the world now, and we reign SUPREME!

  1. Finally a Superman who looks like he could kick some serious butt. I loved Reeves as the Boy in Blue when I was a kind but Superman needs to punch some holes in things.

  2. Snyder: The good and the bad. The good. I like the washed out Lomo effect of filming. It does add depth and makes the cgi blend in better with real characters. His editing, shot choices and ‘beats’ are great. The bad. Weak scripts. Way too much exposition and narrative. Which is fine when filming an adaptation of someone else’s work. But when it’s your own, no. A stronger director/story/script can tell you what’s going on, kinda of like directing a silent movie by having the actors actually act and emote which is what they are there to do anyway. He relies too much on the slo-mo start stop action scenes. It’s like a irritating version of updated Six Million Dollar Man episodes or something, lol. Wachowski Brother’s much? I prefer that to the cerebal palsy style of directing action sequences that so many hacks love nowaday’s but still. Enough with doing stuff that was cool 10 years ago Snyder. Do you ever find yourself watching a animated DC or Marvel movie and thinking how cool that would be to see real actor’s doing that? A super-powered fight between Thor and Hulk? Awwww, sorry nerds. You will never see it because every self-asorbed director is more interested in putting his style on the screen than bringing your fantasy to life, hahaha. Could you imagine some hack trying to do the slo-mo action cam work in an animated movie? Laughable. Let me be the first nerd to say. Who in the heck thinks 3-D and slo-mo cam is a good ideal? Hollywood that’s who. Nolan doesn’t do slo-mo cam. That costume looks like he found it in Spider-Man’s trashcan. If he is not wearing his red panties it looks like we are going to be in for 1 hour and 40 minutes of trying not to look at his junk. Thanks for the homo-erotica Snyder.
