Mondo Votes on the Academy Awards!

It was announced last year that Mondo had partnered with the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences to archive all prints for their research library. Obviously very cool news for them. Now we, the art fans, get to benefit as well!

Mondo will be releasing four art prints from four different categories that feature limited edition prints from their favorite nominated films!

Mondo, the collectible art boutique of the Alamo Drafthouse, announces its first ever Academy Awards poster series, featuring limited edition prints of their favorite nominated films in select categories. There will be four posters from four different categories and the first two include:

HUGO (Best Picture category)
Artist: Kevin Tong
Size: 24×36
Edition: Regular (295), Variant (100)
Price: Regular ($45), Variant ($70)

RANGO (Best Animated Film category)
Artist: Tom Whalen
Size: 18×24
Edition: 270
Price: $40

The other two posters in the series will be revealed next week.
