Roman Morales and I have been invited to take some photos of the Mondo Gallery here in Austin for the grand opening of their second gallery show: “Adventure Time!” before the throng of people fill the gallery.
Below is an exclusive peek at some photos of the show so you can see what Mondo has dreamt up for Adventure Time fans all over. This cartoon is strange, indeed, and has interesting art to match.
There’s even an original piece by Tyler Stout in the mix. I can see a long line has formed outside of the otherwise unnoticeable building; the people milling about are waiting for the doors to open and the purchasing to begin. I can feel the excitement in the air; Mondo creative director Justin Ishmael looks as animated as ever.
Much like the first gallery event, original pieces as well as reproduction pieces are on display for sale with prices ranging from the low end to the high end.
Check out the press release below the photos for more information on the “Adventure Time!” weekend along with a list of all the artists who are involved in the gallery event.
