cover

I personally have to say I am very excited about this news. Slater has been a favorite artist of mine since I first met him at Flatstock here in Austin, TX in 2010. He was nice enough to do an artist interview the following year, seen here and a give away of a print for a Star Wars Mondo release Great Warrior

This 288 page book is going to be chock full of 13″ x 10.5″ full page representations of his work. Also there will be a handful of pages filled with fun and thoughtful words from his peers including a pretty hilarious foreword by Rob Jones on how those two met.

From Flood Gallery:

Todd Slater is one of the world’s leading contemporary artists for rock poster art, with every new release selling out in a matter of minutes. Now with an impressive back catalogue to showcase, Todd has entrusted Flood Gallery Publishing with producing his first book, presenting a varied menagerie of his best work, cataloguing it by year as his style and influences have evolved. If you are a die-hard fan of Todd or have only recently been introduced to his work, this book will give you loads of his stunning art bestowed in a luxury tome.

The first 500 copies will include one of four special signed & numbered 9″ x 12″ Todd Slater screen prints printed by D&L- each edition is of 125, make sure to pre-order early for your chance to own one of these unique mini prints!
