Paramount Pictures is doing a world premiere of the first footage of World War Z in the form of a teaser trailer. So, really, they are teasing us about their announcement of The first full-length ‘World War Z’ trailer set to hit this Thursday on Entertainment Tonight.
I know it’s weird to tease trailers, but it’s working cause we are psyched.

The trailer below is frightening. It gives us a glimpse of what we are in store for. These are not your typical, push-your-slow-zombie-butt-out-of-the-way, Walking Dead zombies. They are chase-your-ass-down-and-bite-you-while-running, 28 Days Later zombies… on steroids. And that means our hopes are pretty high for the latest Marc Forster directed Zombie apocalypse due out June 21, 2013.
The film is an adaptation of the Max Brooks best-selling novel “World War Z: An Oral History of the Zombie War“. The premise of the story revolves around United Nations employee Gerry Lane (Brad Pitt), who travels the world trying to stop the zombie infection that is crushing armies and governments, not to mention threatening to completely wipe out humanity.
With setbacks like re-writes and re-shoots the original release date of late 2012 was pushed back to 2013. Hopefully this means the studio worked out the kinks because we are more than ready to see this film!
Check back on Thursday to see the full trailer in all its glory. Until then see Entertainment Tonight’s teaser trailer below.
