Double Feature #21 with Cake Blissken

Welcome back for more!

Meow, If you’ve got nothing better to do, head on over to your last local video store, search your favorite legal or illegal online subscription movie sites, check your personal DVD or VHS collection and track these bad boys down. Meow grab some delicious and nutritious sweet treats, a refreshing beverage and a nice cozy blanket or significant other and most importantly…stop looking at your cell phone and pay attention!!!

Let’s face it… We really have no idea what this place is and what we’re doing here. Could there be aliens wanting to take over the world or already living amongst us? Anything is possible! So, check out these films and decide for yourself. Today’s Double Feature is John Carpenter’s They Live and Neill Blomkamp’s District 9. Look for the following: An MNU Alert billboard, a Hot Rod, a yellow eye, a very large spaceship, Charlie Jensen, a rocket launcher, a blind priest, a flower made of trash and riot police.

Bonus Play: Check out Rupert Wyatt’s Captive State and take a gritty look at both sides of an occupation of our planet by extraterrestrial visitors.
