Upwards of 15,000 Star Trek fans will beam into the Rio hotel convention center in Las Vegas for Creation Entertainment’s annual Star Trek convention. Star Trek Fans from all over the country are in town for this extravaganza. Many fans dressed as their favorite star fleet captains and crew. We also spotted a few Klingons and Romulans roaming the corridors.
The convention offers everything from vendors selling collectibles to various cast members signing autographs. The highlights of the celebrity guests include Captain James T Kirk (William Shatner), Captain Jean Luc Picard (Patrick Stewart), Data ( Brent Spiner), and from the JJ Abrahms Films Karl Urban (Bones). Fans can also get photos taken with their favorite celebrities from the various shows.
One of the highlights of the photo ops is a replica of the bridge from the U.S.S Enterprise where fans can get their photos taken with the celebrities, and of course this exhibit is drawing the most attention at the Star Trek Discovery exhibit. Fans were treated to a panel for the upcoming show and then peruse the exhibit displaying props and costumes from the newest show.
