It’s been a few weeks since Mondocon 3 and I am sure missing things. One of the things I enjoy most besides new art is interacting with artists and people you hardly ever, if never, see in person. Spending time with friends is often rewarding, but spending time with friends with like minded hobbies is enriching.
This year at Mondocon was better in so many ways than the last two years, more artists, more events, Waaaaaaaay more organized. And not to knock the crew for past years but they have really found their groove. I really want to commend them on all their hard work.
I usually spend my time trying to take photos of new art and people just enjoying themselves. This year, I was so busy enjoying myself I failed to take more photos. I spent a lot of time seeking out artists that I have relations with and introducing myself to ones that I have never met.
This really is a poster collecting nirvana for so many.
One of the things I will take from this year’s Mondocon is the variety of art and artists, and the organizational aspects of everything. Screenings lines, panel lines, and beer lines all organized. Really no hassles whatsoever.
