Zack Snyder Casts Amy Adams As Lois Lane

We recently informed you that Kevin Costner was cast as Jonathan Kent in Zack Snyder’s reboot of Superman. Well we can add Amy Adams to the mix. She just nabbed the role of Lois Lane; the famed lover of Clark ‘Kal-El’ Kent.

Zack Snyder was again quoted saying:

“It goes back to what I’ve said about Superman and making him really understandable for today. What’s important to us is making him relevant and real and making him empathetic to today’s audience so that we understand the decisions he makes. That applies to Lois as well. She has to be in the same universe as him [in tone and substance].”

Amy Adams is a three-time Academy Award nominee and played an incredible role in The Fighter. But dont get too excited. Filming isn’t even set to begin till December 2012. So settle down, antsy readers.

I'm a man of tomorrow still holding onto the joys of yesterday. I miss Nick cartoons, and Power Rangers but I cant get enough of the Time Lords, and Serial Killers we have now. My many distractions include computers, movies, comics, and I like to imagine my life story would be scored with a mixture of Death Cab, A3, and a lot of Kid Cudi. We've entered the Geekological Revolution. A time of Vulcan Death Grips, drinks with friends on Tatooine, and attempting to build a freeze ray. Things have changed, muscle headed bullies. The Nerds rule the world now, and we reign SUPREME!

This movie is going to be fun to watch. I think every on-screen depiction of a superhero is pretty cool, minus Catwoman and a few other early attempts. I loved the 05 Superman, our society is too action oriented, always choosing explosions (Quantity) over real (Quality) acting. Brandon Routh was a great choice for Supes and he did great in my opinion! I am looking forward to all of the new movies coming out because i love to get my “geek” on! Even though the over commercialization of comic books has turned the character I love into a “red blue blur” GAY lol Amy Adams… 2 time Academy Award Nominee… prove all the haters wrong!

I agree, Hocker. The Superman Returns movie was pretty good. I just didnt like when his “son” killed someone with a piano within 5 minutes of figuring out he had powers. Kinda ruins Supermans image. I just imagine Supes being in the background going “WTF. Im a symbol of how peace can prevail in an over-violent world, and my son is killing people left and right.” lol
