Jazmin – I am not lying when I say that I’m in the same boat as new readers when it comes to anything Green Lantern because I haven’t read anything since the end of Blackest Night. That being said, New Guardians really surprised me with how good it was! Our story picks up with Kyle Rainer leading a normal young-person’s life for about 20 minutes before he is recruited into the Green Lantern Corps by the last Guardian, Ganthet. Meanwhile, one ring from every corps mysteriously leaves its owner. I will leave this book’s ending up to readers, but just so we’re all clear this book was great. It’s even got a little costume humor in there. 4 out of 5 Nerdskulls.
