This morning, Kenneth Cole took to his twitter and posted the following plug for his Spring Collection:
Millions are in uproar in #Cairo. Rumor is they heard our new spring collection is now available online at http://bit.ly/KCairo -KC
Almost immediately, the Twitter community began a backlash that hasn’t been seen since the Rebels destroyed the shield generator on Endor. Millions of people began sending angry tweets telling Kenneth Cole that this tweet was in poor taste and how horrible of a person he was for posting. Two hours later, Cole took to his Twitter again and posted:

As of this writing, both tweets are still on his page and the hilarity continues as a fake profile has been created at www.twitter.com/KennethColePR. All of Twitter is invited to join in on the fun with the hashtag #KennethColeTweets. Some gems that we’ve found:
