The first Star Wars movie I remember seeing in the movie theater was Return of the Jedi. I was 7. For a kid who grew up playing with the legendary action figures, the finale to the trilogy was pure joy. Sure the Ewoks were silly, but to a kid they were great. Wicket ruled!
Anywho, there is no greater way to catch that childhood nostalgia than to create cool artwork depicting scenes from the classic film. Jeremy Saliba has done just that. Witness the fantastic power of a menacing rancor towering over a newly minted Jedi Master in Luke Skywalker. The color and shading captures that moment in the film perfectly. Jeremy also created a great fictional scene in which the famed bounty hunter Boba Fett revisits the site of his near downfall, the sarlacc at the Great Pit of Carkoon.
